Listerine Global needed a new product demo for tv/social ads. I helped create several frame by frame versions and an exploratory of past & competitor demos that was presented to the global client.

The demo had to illustrate the claim that Listerine mouthwash kills virtually 100% germs in a mouth, while brushing alone only gets 25%. The problem was that the 2D demo didn't quite resonate with the viewers, the Hybrid demo looked like a bad mix of styles, and the 3D demo was simply gross to look at.

I was tasked to come up with a demo style that would be close to 3D and hybrid, but not quite look like either of those, but still match the Listerine "Bring Out The Bold" aesthetic. I put together a graph showing the existing Listerine demos (2D, Hybrid, 3D) and outlined 3 territories where I wanted to take the future demo: Not So Flat, Tasteful 3D, Real But Symbolic. Not So Flat territory was favored and had more color/style evolution. All sample demos were done for Listerine Cool Mint.
